This was the first Thanksgiving we have ever hosted. Mom and Dad were away in Charleston with Scott and Lara's family. We missed being with mom and dad as well as Tom's family but needless to say we had lots of fun and good food. Mike and Andrea came over from Spokane and R&R's family as well. It is hard to believe that Dana and Hannah are joining the adult table now.

A LeRoy Thanksgiving Tradition
Oh, the traditional cranberry jello salad. What can we say. We always have it and joke about who really likes it. But you know how traditions are. There are a few in the family who think it is amazing. Needless to say, mom and dad are in Charleston, SC for Thanksgiving this year and we took on the grinding. It was really fun and the kids thought it was great making it. Maybe it isn't about the jello, but about the experience making it.
Sleepover
Isabelle turns 8!
Isabelle had a fun birthday weekend with friends and family and school celebrations! She started her day with a tray breakfast from mommy with hot cocoa and french toast. Below is her dancing with her new ipod. A birthday is also never complete without kisses from cousins and something sweet to eat.

Isabelle is just loving soccer ! This has been her first season and has proven to be something she really loves. Her favorite position is goal keeper. It surprises us, but boy is she good at it. It has been fun seeing her change and grow throughout the season. Of course we can't leave out the amazing cheering committee, Sophia and Nolan. They come to the games to cheer (or play in the dirt on the hill) and are always so enthusiastic about it.

Flying Rockets 2008
Me and my friend Zoe were picked to represent our class at the 2008 Science Olympics. We were making paper rockets and ours made it the farthest in class. We got to compete with other second graders from North Kitsap. Needless to say we did not shoot ours the farthest that night, but we were still proud. We even got a ribbon!
